b- Les Bourses
La "Bourse Bauchau Congrès"
La bourse est destinée à un jeune chercheur pour permettre sa participation à un congrès à l'étranger. Le montant accordé est fonction du coût de cette participation; il peut atteindre 750€. Les dispositions annuelles particulières et les prescriptions à suivre (date, formes d'introduction des candidatures,... ) sont communiquées par voie d'affiche.

2021-2022
Caroline Servais (URBM), qui prépare une thèse de doctorat en microbiologie, a postulé pour sa participation à un Gordon Research Seminar et la Gordon Research Conference qui ont eu lieu au Mont Snow West Dover, Vermont, USA
du 25 juin au 01 juillet 2022. Elle y a présenté un poster sur : LPS synthesis and traffic in the envelope of the pathogen Brucella abortus.
2019-2020
Pierre Godessart (URBM) qui prépare une thèse de doctorat en microbiologie (Brucella abortus). Il a postulé pour sa participation à une Gordon Research Conference et un Gordon Seminar adossé portant sur la paroi bactérienne, organisés aux USA (Vermont) en 2020.
2018-2019
Jürg Spaak, doctorant dans l'Unité de Recherche en Biologie Environnementale et Evolutive (URBE) de l'UNamur. Il participera à l' "Annual meeting of the Ecological Society of America" qui se tiendra à Louisville, Kentucky (USA) du 11 au 16 août 2019. Sa participation concerne les "Limited effects of trait richness on species richness and ecosystem function in light-limited phytoplancton communities
2017-2018
Mathide Van der Henst, doctorante dans l'unité de recherche en biologie moléculaire (URBM). Elle a participé en juillet 2018 aux "Gordon Research Conferences" sur le "Microbial control of homeostasis in extreme, hostile and unpredictable environments". Celle-ci a eu lieu à South Hadley, MA, USA. Sa participation concerne : "The stress-related alarmone (p)ppGpp regulates the cell cycle of Brucella abortus and its virulence"
2016-2017
Sébastien Gillet (URBM) qui a participé du 23 au 28 juillet à la Gordon Research Conference sur le thème "Metals physiology and disease". Il y a présenté une communication sur le cuivre, cofacteur pour de nombreuses protéines, qui devient rapidement toxique lorsque sa concentration augmente.
2015-2016
Arnaud MACHELART (URBM) FRIA, qui participera au Symposium International d'Immunologie du 21 au 26 août 2016 à Melbopurne (AUS). Il y présentera une communication orale intitulée "Infection of mice by Trypanosoma brucei ameliorates host immune response against Brucella melitesis"

Severin RONNEAU (URBM) FRIA a participé au symposium « 5th ASM Conference on Procaryotic Cell Biology and Development » organisée par l’American Society of microbiology du 12 au 16 juin 2015 à Washington, DC (USA).
Il y a présenté une communication sur « Phosphotransferase-dependent accumulation of (p)ppGpp in response to glutamine deprivation »
2013-2014
en première position à Thibault Barbier (URBM) aspirant FNRS, a participé au Symposium International sur le Métabolisme et la Pathogénèse des Bactéries du 6 au 9 avril 2014 à Osnabrück (RFA). Il y a présenté une communication orale
partagée en deuxième position par Anaïs Wanet (URBC) qui a participé au 10th Swiss Stem Cell Network meeting le 4 juin 2014 à Geneve (CH). Elle y a présenté une communication orale
2012-2013
Jonathan MARESCAUX (URBE prof. K. Van Doninck)) a participé au "18th Int. Conference on aquatic invasive species" (Ontario, Canada) où il a présenté une communication intitulée: "Invasion of western Europe by Dreissena (rostriformis) bugensis: phylogeography, population genetics and potential impacts assessment".
2011- 2012
Annick Notte (URBC-NARILIS prof. C. MIchiels et T. Arnould)) a participé au "1st International Congres on Cell Death in Cancer" du 13 au 16 mai 2012 à St Malo (France) où elle a présenté une communication intitulée: "Role of autophagy in the hypoxia-induced resistance against taxol-induced apoptosis in MDA-MB-231 breast cancer cells".
Boris Hespeels (URBE prof. K. Van Doninck)) a participé au "International Symposium Rotifera XIII" du 18 au 24 novembre à Shilong (Inde) où il a présenté une communication intitulée: " Is the genome of Bdelloid rotifers preserved following dessication?".
2010-2011
Katleen Roland (URBE, prof. P.Kestemont) a participé au 21 eme congrès du SETAC Europe où elle a présenté une communication intitulée: "Molecular responses of lymphocytes in European eel Anguilla anguilla exposed to perflourooctan sulfonate (PFOS)). Biomarker discovery using a sub-proteomic approach".
2009-10
Charles VAN der HENST (URBM) a participé à l "Gordon Research Conference on microbial toxins and pathogenicity" du 11 au 16 juillet 2010 à Waterville valey (New Hampshire, USA). Le sujet de sa thèse porte sur le parasite bactérien intracellulaire facultatif Brucella abortus.
Xiang LI (URBE) a participé au "16th annual European Meeting of PhD studnets in Evolutionary Biology" qui s'est tenu à Wierzba en Pologne du 23 au 28 mai. Sa thèse porte sur les bdelloïdes qui constituent des modèles très curieux du point de vue évolutif puisque ils survivent depuis 40 millions d'années alors qu'ils ne possèdent pas de reproduction sexuée.
2008-9.
Audrey SERMEUS (URBM) participa au congrès "Hypoxia: Molecular Mechanisms of Oxygen Sensing and Response Pathways" qui a eu lieu du 19 au 24 janvier 2010 à Keystone aux USA. Titre de sa communication : "Regulation of p53 and miRNA expression in hypoxic cancer cells incubated in the presence of etoposide"
Sophie LE BLASTIER (URBM) participa du 24 au 27 août 2009 au congrès EMBO organisé au St Catherine's College d'Oxford en Angleterre sur le thème "Frontiers of Prokariotic Cell Biology". Titre de sa communication :"Phosphate starvation triggers the extracellular secretion of a putative lipoprotein via Caulobacter crescentus type II secretion system"
